Anyone promising faster is either selling you something that won't last, or they've already done the foundation work and are starting from a better baseline than most. We show you exactly where you are on the curve every month so there are no surprises.

Is the CA$400 onboarding fee on top of the first month's retainer?

Yes. The onboarding fee is a one-time charge due at signing and covers the full site audit, keyword research, technical baseline setup, and account configuration. Think of it as the cost of the blueprint before construction starts. The monthly retainer begins once onboarding is complete — typically at the start of month 2.

Do you work with auto repair shops and moving companies, or just HVAC and plumbing?

All four verticals. HVAC, plumbing, auto repair, and moving companies share the same business model — they live on inbound calls, compete hyper-locally, and win or lose based on their Google visibility. The SEO methodology is the same. The audit, the keyword research, the schema types, and the content architecture all adapt to each vertical. We've audited enough sites across all four to know exactly what the common gaps are — and how to fix them.

What if I want to pause the engagement?

Pausing isn't something we offer mid-term, because SEO is cumulative — stopping the link building and content cadence mid-engagement is like pausing a snowball halfway down a hill. What we do offer is flexibility at renewal: you can step down a tier, extend at the same rate, or exit cleanly with 60 days notice once your initial term is complete.

What does the performance bonus actually measure, and who tracks it?

Rankings are tracked using agreed tools (Ahrefs or Semrush rank tracker) against a keyword list documented and signed off at onboarding. Traffic growth is measured in Google Analytics 4 against the baseline established in month 1. Measurement happens at the end of each calendar month. If the trigger is met, the bonus is added to the following month's invoice. No retroactive adjustments, no disputes — the terms are in writing before the engagement starts.

The audit gives you a full picture of your current SEO gaps ranked by impact. At the end of it, we give you our honest recommendation for which tier addresses your biggest opportunity — and whether SEO is even the right move for you right now. We'd rather refer you elsewhere than take a retainer that isn't the right fit.

All prices in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude applicable taxes (GST/HST). Target keywords for performance bonus are agreed and documented in writing during onboarding. Scope changes (additional services, extra content, new locations) are quoted separately via written change order. Client is responsible for providing access to CMS, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile within 5 business days of signing. Payments due on the 1st of each month; 5% late fee applies after 10 days. All deliverables remain the client's property upon full payment.
